Join us for an unforgettable morning safari in the Dinokeng Game Reserve, a Big 5 reserve located just 60 minutes from O.R. Tambo International Airport.
Dinokeng is home to the Big 5 — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. While there is always a possibility of seeing any or even all of these iconic animals, sightings can never be guaranteed, as this is a natural, unfenced wilderness environment.
In addition to the Big 5, the reserve is also home to cheetah, as well as both brown and spotted hyena, along with a wide variety of plains game, birdlife, and other fascinating species.
Your experience includes a 2.5–3 hour guided game drive led by one of our qualified and experienced field guides, who will share fascinating insights, stories, and knowledge about the African bush and its wildlife.

One of the best game drives I’ve been on.
Did both trips once with Aiden and an afternoon one with Eric and both made it an absolute amazing drive.
Very informative and will stop to look at any animals on request, if you want more information you can just ask and they were very accommodating, rusks and coffee with breakfast and snacks with cool drinks and cold water for a late afternoon drive.

Recently visited Dinokeng and stayed at Sunset Bush Camp. When it wasn’t raining we went out on selfdrives and saw nothing. We went out on our last morning with Aiden and we were very lucky. Saw lion, buffalo, a couple of Jakkal and the usual suspects. It was a great drive, and instead of the 3 hours, we ended up being out for about 3 and a half. Well worth it.

Went with our guide this morning on a game drive. Due to all the rain the last few days we didn’t see much, but he still told us about White and Black Rhino and the differences between them. He was persistent in finding one for us, and succeeded. He is very informative and chatted about the Buffalo when we spotted one. He told us about the Monkey Tail lilies – most of the info he gave, we didn’t know. He is a very friendly young man and willing to take time to chat and gave valuable Information. The coffee and tusks were delicious. We rate him 10/10. Thank you for helping to start my birthday on a high note. I recommend the game drive.

We went on a refreshing 3-hour game drive
We didn’t get to see a large variety of the animals, due to mother nature picking what she offers and what not.
However, our guide, Aiden didn’t grow weary or discouraged.
What a kind-spirited young man.
Overall a 5-star experience.
Definitely will be returning for another round and hoping to tour with Aiden again.
